Dr. S Prabhakar Kamath

Patron Life School

Dr Kamath has held senior positions in leading Companies handling range of Human resource subjects.  His facilitation skills are backed by deep conceptual and practical knowledge gained from live human interactions. More than 500 companies have engaged him for various purposes including Organisation development, Training interventions and Enabling Culture change.

As a certified facilitator in applied behavioural sciences, he conducts retreats to make people more self-aware, understand nature of their own mind and heart and thus enhance quality of their life. As a patron of The Life School Bhopal, Dr Kamath mentors cross section of people in their journey of Self-discovery.

His professional journey as a career civil servant, that culminated as the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, gave him opportunities to closely observe, mull over, introspect and device reliable ways of maintaining one’s composure and emotional balance in times of real crisis.

Over the years he has delved deeper into how thoughts, emotions, culture and social conditioning shape one’s behaviour, perception, reactions and experience of the outside world. How often the key to mending the seemingly chaotic world outside, lies in first attending to the turmoil within oneself.

His books ‘Making you Turn’ and ‘उद्गम की ओर’ offers ways of self exploration purely through everyday personal experience. It has helped many recognise their inner peace and freedom. Refinement of one’s attention, traditional Indian wisdom and non-dual meditation practice are at the heart of his facilitation work at ‘The Life School Bhopal’.

Ambrish Srivastava

Facilitator

Worked in Government for 40 years in various administrative capacities. Initiated by Yogoda Satsang Society Ranchi, he has been a serious kriya Yog sadhak for last 20 years. He is otherwise an active practitioner of hath yoga and various meditative techniques over last three decades. As a volunteer and facilitator at The Life School, he shares his rich yogic experiences and conducts meditation sessions.

Jai Bhagwan Agrawal

President

Jai Bhagwan Agrawal graduated in Mechanical Engineering from MBM Engineering college, Jodhpur (Rajasthan). He worked for 44 years in Porcelain Insulator industries in various senior capacities.

His active association with The Life school Bhopal started in 2020. Having understood and lived GRAF - Gratitude,Responsibility,Acceptance, Forgiveness - for over five years, he now shares his transformation with wider audience. He does not preach but inspires them by his own example.

The unwavering commitment of JB, as he is fondly called, to spread the spirit and message of Life School has helped many people learn the art of living in peace and fulfilment. The Life School has continued grow as an institute that adheres to the values it stands for under his leadership.

Indra Pal Singh

Director Programs

Indrapal Singh graduated in both Science and Law faculty. He later completed Post Graduation in Economics. He first worked as lecturer and later joined the Excise department and served it for over 33 years till 2018. The range of professional activities and challenges sharpened his understanding about the cognitive and emotive patterns of people from a wide cross section of society.

As founder member of The Life School Bhopal, he continues to work intensely on self and related subjects. His understanding of the applied behavioural sciences has touched the lives of many individuals. Since last few years he is living the adage “Be the change you wish to see in the world” with unflinching integrity.

Mukesh Kumar Garhwal

Secretary

Mukesh Kumar graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering and joined was 1989 UPSC batch of Indian Engineering Services. He served extensively at Akashvani and Doordarshan in various capacities. His specialisation in Human Resource management offered opportunity to study the behavioural patterns on the outside and their genesis in the inside. After superannuating as Deputy Director General in February 2024, he began his journey with The life School Bhopal. He lives, practises and disseminates the philosophy of the School in true earnest. His personal transformation- from lost in past to ever present in the Here and Now- is an inspiring story of how a person can "Be his own Master."

Sumit Kedia

Treasurer

Sumit Kedia did Masters in Business Administration and started his career of project financing in a leading Corporate house. Later he successfully built and expanded his own business managing efficient distribution channels. He specialises in electronic goods distribution, retail and NBFC services.

A deep commitment to personal growth and inner transformation connected him to The Life School. Work on self helped him gain emotional balance and heightened self-awareness. He recognised how conscious learning and self reflection enhances both personal well-being and leadership efficacy.
